We’ve all been wanting to get out, see people, and start having more activities that feel more normal. Me too. Given that I’ve been working on songwriting since the Pandemic started, I figured that it was about time for me to start stretching myself and seeing if I can start performing my songs, so I’ve decided to put together a Concert Tour. The only thing about this tour is that all of the performances will happen in my own town of Arlington, Massachusetts.
I’m calling this the Home Town Concert Tour, as Arlington is my home town. Here are the events I’m planning:
Friday, June 17th at 7:30 pm: Private House Concert
The 1st concert on the 2022 Home Town Concert Tour is a small house concert. It will be limited to 6-8 people maximum and hope to have it in a semi-outdoor location (if weather permits). If interested, let me know, and I’ll see how many people I can accomodate. All attendees will need to be vaccinated, boosted, and tested before attending.
Saturday, June 18th at 12:00 noon: Arlington Porchfest with Timmy Riordan
Join me and Timmy Riordan as we will be sharing the stage as we will both be performing our original songs as part of the larger Arlington Porchfest event. We’ll be performing at 305 Summer Street, Arlington. Rain date will be Sunday, June 19th.
Wednesday, June 22nd, at 8:30 pm: Zoom Concert
For the 3rd and final event of the Home Town Concert Tour, join me for an online concert via Zoom. I’ll be performing a number of my original songs, and maybe a cover or two. You’ll need to register for this (trying to keep the Zoom bombers at bay!)
Thursday, June 23th at 6:30 pm: Busking Concert/Picnic
For the 4th event of the Home Town Tour, come join me at Spy Pond Park for a short outdoor concert of my songs. I’ll have my PA system set up, so bring a blankets and/or a beach chair and listen along. Bring something to eat and an instrument and we can sing and play together!
Rain cancels (or at least reschedules, as the forecast isn’t looking the best right now!)
I hope that I see you for one of these performances. All are free, but if you want, you can drop a donation in the Tip Jar!
Looking forward to it.
