Ken Mattsson Music is proud to announce the first virtual house concert of 2021!
Celebrate the New Year (and FINALLY say goodbye to 2020) with Danno Sullivan and Erin Ash Sullivan! This upbeat evening will include classics from the Jazz Age, covers from the greats ranging from Irving Berlin to Hank Williams, and some originals from Erin off her upcoming album We Can Hear Each Other, due out later in 2021.
Danno Sullivan has played ukulele since first getting one in tune (several years after buying it). Danno plays novelty songs from the rooty-tooty 1920s to make you laugh, and bang bang rock and roll to make you dance. He founded the Ukulele Union of Boston, a club for uke lovers, has hosted a beloved Saturday night talent show for uke players throughout the pandemic, and provides larfs, lessons, and daily doses of uke inspiration at PlayItDailyUkulele.com and PlayItDaily on Facebook.
ERIN ASH SULLIVAN
Erin Ash Sullivan is a Massachusetts-based singer-songwriter whose music focuses on the power of story to build connection. Drawing from the lives of others as well as her own experiences as a daughter, wife, mother, and artist, Erin’s songs harness language in unexpected ways to show the world through others’ eyes.
In the late 1990s, Erin co-founded the band Edith O with singer-songwriter Amy Speace, performed regularly at New York City venues including the Bitter End and CBGB’s Gallery, and released an album, Tattooed Queen, which garnered critical raves.
After many years as a teacher, administrator, and author, she has returned to writing music and performing and can be found on the Massachusetts open mic circuit. Her newest album, We Can Hear Each Other, is due out in 2021. Her website, erinashsullivan.com, will be live soon, but until then you can email her directly.
Opening for Danno and Erin will be Ken Mattsson, who will be performing a few songs at the beginning of the show.

We look forward to starting the new year with friends and entertainment!
